Baseball: Gators Head Back to Carolina Forest In Playoff Rematch

River Bluff returns to Carolina Forest, the site of their only loss this postseason, on Wednesday night to take on the Panthers in an elimination game of the District 4 bracket of the AAAAA-Division I Lower State Playoffs.

Carolina Forest defeated the Gators 3-0 on Saturday. River Bluff rebounded to beat Lexington 12-11 on Monday to advance to their game against the Panthers, who lost in extra innings to Sumter on Monday.

The winner of the River Bluff-Carolina Forest matchup will square off against Sumter on Friday night, needing to beat the Gamecocks twice to advance to the Lower State Championship series.

First pitch at Carolina Forest on Wednesday night is scheduled for 6 p.m.
